SUPPLIERAUDITS
Our Key Performance Indicator stipulates that 80%of our
sourcing valuemust originate from supplierswho have
been audited by our external auditing company or are
certifiedmembers of the Responsible JewelleryCouncil
(RJC), meaning that they have been audited against the
broadest and strictest standardswithin the jewellery supply
chain. Non-compliances identifiedduring the independent
supplier audits typically involve breaches of either health
and safety standards or terms of employment. PANDORA
works diligently to achieve high standards and expertise
withinboth issues at our crafting facilities inThailand.
Thus, we regularly invite suppliers to training sessions at
these facilities so that they can learnmore about howwe
maintain high standards, andhow such standards help us
continuously improve safety levels, job satisfaction and
commitment – andultimately performance, productivity,
attraction and retention. In 2015, approximately 150
participants fromour key suppliers from across theworld
attended such training sessions inThailand.
